Don't Spill The Latte
As of late, one of my personal edicts is: Don't spill the latte.
The phrase comes from a unmixed snippet of a leaked version of a Kanye record, and it has a quality of artistic, non-sequitur absurdity, a blend of shallow comicality and philosophical depth, that I find incredibly captivating.
The delivery of the line really seals the deal for me, it's downright fucking hilarious, and while I won't link to it, for the sake of creative and artistic integrity, it's pretty easy to find.
That being said, the phrase truly is extremely resonant to me, because sometimes you don't spill the latte, and sometimes, you do.
I've certainly spilled the latte more than once, and many times, I've managed not to spill the latte.
By the way, there's no use crying over spilled lattes.
